Volume Slicer Applet - MR

This dataset is made up of 58 slices, each 100x100. The voxels are 2.0x2.0x2.0 mm (isotropic). The blurring in the ZY and XZ planes make it apparent that the data were resampled from anisotropic scan data.

Position cursor over any of the slices. The slice is highlighted and color-coded hashmarks are highlighted in the other viewers showing the position of the active slice. Use the 'j' and 'k' keys to move through the volume (up/down and space/bs work too).

I cropped the data and reduced the gray levels to keep the gif file size down (it's still 338 KB). If you're not on an HP, you can look at the jpeg version. It's 134 KB and has the full gray range, though there is quite a bit of frequency loss. You really need a good 24-bit color monitor to get the full gray range.
Thanks to the Mallinckrodt Institute Of Radiology's Image Processing Lab for the raw dataset.
